hi,
first of all hindi cant be your national language.
It will only split this country into many countries.

Secondly all great people born never said they were indians.
There is no mentioning in any history books that a country called india existed.only to the westerners it was known as india.
Great kings of diffedrent kingdoms never were called indians.

Now coming to kannadigas view on other state languages. We perfect others.
But others need to know what their history really is.
Karnataka did not have any regiment during british rule as we did not support them.
Where as kodavas for the sake of money and power became slaves of them and joined their army.
U should accept the facts.
Other south indian states had a regiment as they supported british and wanted to annex karnatakas lands.
Like the maharashtra, tamil nadu and hyderabad kings supported the british to grab karnatakas land.
Check the atlas to find out that the names of most of the places in theses lands are actually kannada names even though they are considered to be the heartland of other states.
So india is just a nation which is made up of people trying to kill each other for land and money.
india if it remains in this shamefull state for some more time it will collapse and many smaller countries will be formed which is actually good for everyones development and cultural integrity.

Indian law specifies Hindi & English are Official language of India. Article 343 of the constitution specifies that the Official language of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script.The term “National Language” is never mentioned in Constitution. Article 354 specifies that the legislature of a State may by law adopt any one or more of the languages in use in the State or Hindi as the Language or Languages to be used for all or any of the Official purposes of that State.[8] Section 8 of The Official Languages Act of 1963 (as amended in 1967) empowers the Union Government to make rules regarding the languages which may be used for the Official purposes of the Union, for transaction of business in Parliament, and for communication between the Union Government and the states.[9] Section 3 of G.S.R. 1053, titled “Rules, 1976 (As Amended, 1987)” specifies that communications from a Central (Union) Government office to a State or a Union Territory in shall, save in exceptional cases (Region “A”) or shall ordinarily (Region “B”), be in Hindi, and if any communication is issued to any of them in English it shall be accompanied by a Hindi translation thereof. Section 3 of G.S.R. 1053, titled “Rules, 1976 states Communications from a Central Government office to State or Union Territory in Region “C” or to any office (not being a Central Government office) or person in such State shall be in English. Region C (South India) covers Tamil Nadu, Kerala , Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh [10]

To be an indian i want to teach hindi every where and hindi is complesary all states in india hindi is must and indian to be declare hindu country and neglet the close 370 in J&k. all indian to be purchase land in j&k.

U mr. indian rather true indian, we’ve never been taught to be cowards or be scared of other lingual people. s i agree in blogs we see people commenting bad on other languages, but u lack deep observation. there, people express their anguish on other lingual people’s (few) attitude toward in their states, not on language, if they take name of their languages, it’s just to refer ‘that’ people. i think u r a hindi lover and trying to use divide and rule policy of british on non-hindi speaking people, thus gaining a POLITICAL miliage to keep divided non-hindi people and impose hindi on others. good! u should be given bharata ratna not for any good achievement but for demoralizing people to establish hindi imperialism
