If you like you may even register with your telecom providers by sending them a SMS or getting in touch with their Customer Care.
Part 2 will give you details about how to go about doing it.
- To register your Airtel number with the NDNC list, simply send the SMS START DND from your phone to 121(Toll Free)
- You will get a confirmation number and your request will be processed in 45 days
BSNL users may SMS or call the Call center to register
- To register your BSNL number with the NDNC list, simply send the SMS DNC ACT from your phone to 53733
- Customer Care – Call 1500
- You will get a confirmation number and your request will be processed in 45 days
Vodafone Hutch subscribers can call the Call Center to register with the NDNC Registry.

The reliance numbers that you gave are the Hotline numbers for reliance. And, they do not register us for the Do not call Registry. I am sorry to say that either your information is lacking or the Reliance people are breaking some laws. I have tried thrice to register. Once, I got the answer that, the registry as yet has not started. Second time, they had no information regarding the Do not Call Registry Number that I had to Dial from my Reliance Mobile. And, third time they gave me a number of which inTelephone Parlance there was no `Astitva’. Please explain to me how, after all this things have happened, do I avoid all those annoying SMSes and Calls from Reliance itself. Forget others.

Are you talking of the Reliance CDMA services or GSM services?
If it is CDMA, I called *333 and asked them the same.
They said there is no provision to register for DNC by calling up their helpline.
But yeah, he added that we can register by sending the SMS DNC ACT to the number 53733.
If it is GSM, once you get the information on how to register, please let me know about your location along with the information.

Nagesh thanks for ur participation in NDNC to make it success.The spread sheets desinged by you are somewhat confusing.So i started something.Who ever gets any more tele calls just enter those names in tht spread sheet and go to file and save , it automatically saves the numbers.
