There many other things could be done like we can generate lot of data entry jobs for disabled by giving them few month of training. Actually i am a business man and working on the same line. Remember we have to do some thing our self able will not care.
]]>And the worst thing many people do while helping out to the disabled is that they try to make the disabled dependent on them. This point should be thoroughly kept in mind that the disable dont need anyone’s support as that may hurt their self-esteem. they only demand for some extra care and facilities that would make their life a bit easier for day to day living ]]>
On the other hand we as individuals need to get rid of the social stigma and the suffering these people go through. It doesnt take much in guiding a blind man into the right compartment in the train or helping him cross the road.. Spreading smiles doesnt cost much but is highly productive. ]]>
But these people deserve to be found a source of livelihood? We need to encourage our vocational job centres and find them places in corporates where their disability may not hurt performances. There are several. Instead government will stupidly focus on reservations based on caste and religion.
